The Leoti Governing Body approved a five percent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for all full-time city employees on Nov. 18, 2024. Councilor Aron White moved the measure and Councilor Jim Kreutzer seconded; the motion "carried unanimously." The adjustment is set to take effect with the first payroll in January 2025.
The meeting minutes do not include a staff cost estimate or a line-item budget impact for the COLA; council members approved the pay adjustment as recorded in the minutes. The vote followed review of the City Treasurer's October Report and Budget Authority Report earlier in the meeting.
