Leoti council approves employee Christmas bonus and holiday open-house drawing; Trunk-or-Treat drew more than 200

At the Nov. 4 meeting, the Leoti City Council unanimously approved a monetary Christmas bonus for city employees. Derek Meyer moved the measure and Jim Kreutzer seconded the motion.
Council also approved details for a Christmas open-house drawing set for Dec. 12–13, offering a $100 prize and a $50 credit on a city utility account; winners will be drawn at the end of business on Dec. 13. Jim Kreutzer moved the open-house drawing approval, seconded by Aron White; the motion carried unanimously.
City Clerk Jeannine Hassell reported that the city’s Trunk-or-Treat event on Oct. 31 was a success, with 10 participants decorating trunks and more than 200 trick-or-treaters passing through the line.
