Darien ARB issues favorable reports on multiple storefront signs and awnings downtown

Representatives from Hung Well Signs (Kevin Kane), Baywater (David Genovese, Lisa Elwell) and tenant or architect teams presented individual sign packages. Key approvals and board requests included: Pause (15 Corbin Drive) — aluminum painted blue wall letters, halo illumination, a blade sign with raised logo, and illuminated shadow boxes (applicant to submit 3000K specifications); OGGI — reverse channel halo‑lit black letters and a blade sign with external lighting; Cups & Cones — teal awning with white letters and a painted blade sign, with the board recommending different outdoor furniture; Romancci’s (400 Heights Road) — raised letters on an aluminum black panel (board requested halo lighting instead of push‑through), limit to two wall signs (Heights Road and courtyard) and relocation of a blade sign plus proposed interior mirror film for back‑of‑house screening; Everything Rosey — scalloped blue awning and individual green applied letters; Countdown Fitness — flat cut white acrylic letters and a revised front blade sign with gray panel and white letters; and Le Source — scalloped awning and painted 2‑inch ivory aluminum letters (halo lit). All items received favorable reports.
