City Superintendent Blaine Medina told the council on Sept. 16, 2024 that the city is considering a new bulk water pay station from Vernon Manufacturing.
Medina said the proposed unit could accept cash, credit cards and prepaid cards and would use a new card management program that he reported carries fewer fees than the current system. He estimated the unit cost at roughly $6,000, noting that installation and electrical work would be additional. Council members asked about additional features; Medina said he would gather specifics and present them at the next council meeting.
