The Dover Conservation Commission voted to approve a minor modification for 139 Center Street that allows the property owner to retain a detached garage located in the 100-foot buffer zone. Staff reported the modification did not change the structure’s exterior, add impervious surface, or otherwise adversely impact wetlands, and that the applicants will install additional subsurface infiltration to capture roof runoff.
Janet explained the revision and recommended approval, saying the change “will not alter or have an adverse impact on the wetland.” Applicant representative Mark Cooperman confirmed the retained garage will be occasionally used and that the project includes roof drain chambers to improve infiltration. The motion to approve the minor modification passed unanimously.
