At the end of its July 23 meeting the Mendon Zoning Board of Appeals confirmed that three applications will be on the agenda for its Aug. 13 meeting: the continued Ainsworth area‑variance public hearing, an ME interpretation appeal, and the Stanton area variance. The chair told applicants and attendees the board would keep the Ainsworth hearing open and expected revised placement drawings for review.
A committee member asked whether the planning board’s updated standard operating procedures might affect board practice, and the chair said no board‑wide changes had been communicated to the Zoning Board. The board asked applicants to meet immediate neighbors and return materials to planning staff in advance of the Aug. 13 packet.
