Regina Goff and commissioners discussed whether the levy should be approved by ordinance or as part of the budget; the commission moved and approved the 4-mill renewal as part of the budget process by voice vote.
What happens next: the levy will be included in the upcoming budget process and the authority will continue grant applications and project planning for the runway work scheduled to begin in 2027.
