Board members asked whether project cost estimates reflected prevailing-wage requirements and whether the port expects final costs to exceed the estimate; the port representative acknowledged the budget was based on prior estimates and that the port may spend more than the grant amount but did not plan to return with an amended request this year. The motion to approve the $50,833 state share with a $16,944 match passed on voice vote.
