Council approves consent agenda; Board of Zoning Appeals variances reported

At the Nov. 18 meeting, the Lindsborg City Council approved the consent agenda items by a 7-0 roll call vote. The approved items included the Nov. 4, 2024 regular meeting minutes, Payroll Ordinance 5509, and Purchase Order Ordinance 5510; Councilmember Kirsten Bruce moved the motion, seconded by Councilmember Andrew Smith.
Under committee reports, staff advised the Board of Zoning Appeals met on Nov. 12 and approved two variance requests. Case #03-24 reduced a fence setback near McKinley and State Street; staff noted the proposed fence would not obstruct sight triangles. Case #04-24 approved a reduction in setback for a structure from six feet to three feet. Both requests were approved by the Board of Zoning Appeals as reported to council.
