The Lindsborg City Council approved the 2025 service agreement with Rural Fire District No. 8 on Nov. 18, authorizing continued city-provided services, vehicle storage and payment arrangements for volunteer fire runs.
Meeting materials stated the proposed 2025 agreement includes a three percent increase in the fee for city-provided services and vehicle storage. Councilmember Rebecca Van Der Wege moved to approve the agreement; the motion was seconded by Councilmember Kirsten Bruce and passed 7-0 by roll call vote. The agreement will be presented to Rural Fire District No. 8 at their December meeting as part of the intergovernmental process.
