City staff provided an informational briefing on Dec. 2 about the city's contract with Enterprise Fleet Management, approved Aug. 1, 2022. Staff summarized prior updates and said two vehicles delivered under FY24 are a 2023 Ford F-150 (Fire command vehicle) with a lease payment of $1,040.52 and a 2024 Chevy Silverado (wastewater) with lease payment of $887.01. The rehab ambulance was sold for $11,000 and the proceeds were placed into Equipment Reserve to fund lease payments.
Staff told council that going forward Mayor Shultz asked that future vehicle acquisitions be brought to council individually prior to order so council can weigh each purchase; staff recommended re-agendizing the Enterprise Fleet program in 2025 for council direction on continuation or termination of the program. No formal action was required at this meeting.
