Council approves $8,898 payment for golf course irrigation pump and motor replacement

Staff temporarily hand-watered the greens and contacted Johnson Pump Service; Jason Johnson of Johnson Pump Services replaced both the pump and motor on short notice. Council approved payment of $8,898.00 to Johnson Pump Service to reimburse the work.
Councilmember Blaine Heble moved and Councilmember John Presley seconded the payment approval; the motion passed 6-0 by roll call vote. Staff indicated the repair was critical to turf health and was completed promptly to avoid damage to the course.
