Milton Collins, Community Development Director, reported to the council on the Board of Zoning Appeals meeting held Aug. 20, 2024. The BZA considered a variance request for a recreation vehicle located in an R1 single-family residential district and the minutes state the occupant has been given one year to find a new residence.
Collins told council the area where the recreation vehicle is parked is zoned R1 for single-family dwellings and not for recreational vehicles. The council received the report as a committee item; no further council action on this variance was recorded in the meeting minutes.
