"I contributed to the letter that CLF sent...I agree that a percentage is is needed. It it strikes some important language," Anderson said, adding that removing the explicit percentage left the pathway phrased instead in terms of building size or addition size, which created confusion. Roger Haringa and Angela Haupt both said the change requires cleanup and placed the reuse wording in a 'parking lot' for further revision.
The council agreed to return to reuse language and to refine the draft in follow‑up work by sponsors and interested council members.
