Members agreed to prepare a concise handout and to use the Feb. 10 council meeting public comment period to present health-related priorities before the council's goal-setting work sessions begin.
Cicely, staff, noted the city will hold two goal-setting work sessions; the first is before the last council meeting in February and is a work session that does not take public input. "If you did wanna provide input, then I would encourage you to come to the public comment period at the next city council," Cicely said, and added the committee could also provide written materials for inclusion in the goal packet via the council liaison.
Committee members discussed logistics for a short presentation—one member suggested two people split the time or that the liaison include the material in the council packet—and agreed to finalize a brief document to submit before the work session.
