City manager reports traffic enforcement, Water Day, staff appointment and school art project

City Manager Adam Ogden used his report to highlight several operational items for Sweet Home.
Ogden said the traffic officer assigned to calls and training will return to traffic enforcement in February. "So we will be out there enforcing traffic. So everyone be aware to slow down and don't run stop signs," he said. Ogden also said he will attend Water Day at the Capitol on Feb. 2 to follow water-related issues and relationships useful to the city.
Ogden congratulated Deputy City Manager Cecily for being accepted to the state transportation policy committee and described a high school metals‑shop project in which students, working with Mr. Hart, are fabricating fish sculptures to be placed in medians; staff and public works will coordinate installation.
