Planner Sara Bowersox briefed commissioners on a short-plat application for Teton Tinsel Farms, a roughly 113-acre property east of Ashton. The proposal would create a one-acre lot surrounding an existing potato cellar and retain the remaining 112 acres as a second parcel with a defined building envelope and open-space areas to meet the county's short-plat standards.
Bowersox noted the public comment period remained open through the following Wednesday and that no comments had been submitted by the time of the briefing. She said the short plat does not require a public hearing at the Planning Commission level and that, after the comment period, staff would process and forward the short-plat documentation to the Board of County Commissioners for finalization.
No formal action was taken by the Planning Commission at the March 16 meeting; staff indicated the short plat would proceed through the standard notice period and be scheduled to the County Commissioners for final approval.
