The Fremont County Planning & Zoning Commission elected its leadership at the Feb. 23 meeting. Commissioner Sonnie Haws nominated Jim Jorgensen for chair; the nomination was seconded by Commissioner Dennis Forbush and passed by voice vote. JC Siddoway was nominated and seconded for vice‑chair and approved by voice vote.
After the election Mr. Jorgensen reminded members to silence cell phones and noted procedural expectations for public hearings. Commissioners will serve in their new roles until the commission's next scheduled officer elections or as otherwise provided by county rules.
