City Administrator Kristi Northcutt and City Clerk Roxie Sjogren were approved as voting delegates for the League of Kansas Municipalities' annual business meeting on Oct. 12, 2024, in Wichita. The League allows member cities two voting delegates and two alternates based on Lindsborg's population.
City Administrator Northcutt said she will attend the conference and serve as a voting delegate pending council approval. The council approved Northcutt and Sjogren as voting delegates, with Mayor Clark Shultz and Finance Director David Hay named as alternates; the motion passed 7-1 by voice vote, with Councilmember Joshua Swanson recorded as voting nay. The League requires delegate notice prior to Sept. 20 for participation in voting.
