Councilors and staff discussed multiple avenues to distribute a draft community evaluation survey, with staff recommending a mix of digital and paper options to reach a broad cross-section of residents. Cecily said she planned to use the city’s social media and website and suggested the city could also publish the survey in the local newspaper or offer a paper cut-out residents could drop off.
"We haven't really gotten into that, so I was thinking obviously through our social media and our website, but it's also something that we could theoretically publish in the newspaper, maybe even as something folks could cut out and drop off," Cecily said. Several councilors responded favorably to including a paper option: one councilor said, "I love the idea of paper and pencil," and another noted appreciation for covering multiple distribution channels to gather broader input.
Councilors indicated that combining digital outreach with physical distribution would likely yield more representative responses. Staff will finalize distribution details and proceed with circulation for the 2–3 week window Cecily proposed.
