"Our engineering firm gave us a draft report on the silica line task... at our next meeting... they will likely have a final draft report for the silica line guiding us about what they... what it cost, etcetera," the water committee representative said. Council and water-committee members noted that Bath currently serves about 1,400 water customers and flagged the cost sensitivity of large capital projects. Members said they will use the firm's findings to inform funding requests and vendor selection.
