"What we did in the finance committee is we authorized up to $6,000, to be spent from the train depot account to install an HVAC, a mini split system and also build 2, fake walls... so that they can use that room more," the clerk reported. Council members described the walls as removable so the building's historic fabric would not be permanently altered and said the expense would improve tenant operations at the depot.
