The town marshal told the council that Morgan completed emergency responder clinician certification and has already supported sheriff deputies and EMS in recent calls. “We utilized her with the sheriff's department in a huge way,” the marshal said, describing the training as a useful local asset.
The marshal asked the council to authorize $180 to obtain Narcan trainer certification so Morgan could train law enforcement, EMS and community members. Committee member (Speaker 4) moved to approve the certification funding and the motion was seconded and approved; the council congratulated Morgan on completing her training and directed staff to record the appropriation for training.
