Principal Planner Annie Greening informed the board that 126 South J Street had been condemned by the Building Official and acquired by the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA); staff said no further action by the Historic Resources Preservation Board is required.
Board members asked for an update on a separate condemned property at 523 South M Street, where large Banyan trees remain on site. Greening said pre-demolition forms had not yet been provided and staff has discussed the need to preserve the trees on site. No motions or votes were taken on either property at the meeting.
