Jackson County agrees to several citizen committee appointments and reappointments

During the July 2, 2026 staff meeting, the Board of Commissioners agreed to multiple citizen committee appointments and reappointments. Commissioner Rick Dyer referenced Submission No. 3 and the Board agreed to appoint Colleen Aldrich to the White City Lighting District Budget Committee; Steve Sobhi to the Public Health Advisory Board; and Nathan Olson, Travis Christian and Barbara Johnson to the Public Safety Coordinating Council.
The recording secretary, Kacie Kinney, will prepare the Orders for these appointments and reappointments for approval at a future Board meeting. The minutes record agreement to the appointments but do not show a formal vote or effective start dates for the appointees.
