Planning and Zoning meeting moved to Oct. 15 to avoid Columbus Day conflict

City staff and council moved the board's October meeting and the Comprehensive Plan Workshop from Columbus Day to Oct. 15; September's meeting will be held Sept. 15 at 6:00 p.m.
Interim City Manager James Booth told the board that because the October Planning and Zoning meeting conflicted with the Comprehensive Plan Workshop scheduled on Columbus Day, the City Council decided to move both items to Oct. 15. Under the new schedule, the Planning and Zoning meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Comprehensive Plan Workshop at 6:30 p.m.
Booth also confirmed that the September Planning and Zoning meeting will be held on Sept. 15 at 6:00 p.m. The change was presented to the City Council on Aug. 4 and reflected on the city's calendar distributed to board members.
