City administration recommended transferring $100,000 of the unallocated half-cent local sales tax to the Capital Improvement Reserve Fund and $8,700 to the Special Parks Fund to address deferred maintenance in 2025.
Staff provided estimated year-end sales-tax revenue of $235,121.11 and a proposed application that left an estimated unallocated balance of $11,883.74 after transfers. Councilmember Andrew Smith moved to approve the transfers; the motion passed 7-0.
The transfer reallocates budgeted local sales-tax receipts to targeted reserve funds ahead of 2025 capital needs.
