Council approved one-time external allocations in the adopted 2025 budget that staff said became possible after an error was found in the August draft.
The budget lists $30,000 for the Old Mill & Swedish Heritage Museum and $10,000 for the Senior Center; staff noted this would be the fourth consecutive year of funding for the Old Mill and the first allocation for the Senior Center. Staff also cautioned that external allocations are becoming increasingly challenging because of deferred maintenance on city-owned assets.
These allocations were included as part of the overall budget adoption and were not voted on separately. The council adopted the full budget by roll call vote, 8-0.
