At its May 18 meeting the Franklin Borough Board of Education approved vendor payments covering multiple funds with a combined total of $1,159,668.69 for the period April 28 through May 18, 2026. The board also accepted the Board Secretary’s and Treasurer’s reports for April 2026 and, pursuant to N.J.A.C. 6A:23A‑16.10, certified that no major account or fund reflected an over‑expenditure as of April 30, 2026.
The board approved between line‑item transfers for April and authorized submission of an Extraordinary Aid application for fiscal year 2026. The board also approved an out‑of‑district placement for a student at Lakeland Andover School at a cost of $12,240 plus transportation for May 1–June 30, 2026, accepted two $50 donations for 8th grade awards, and accepted a Focus Grant of $1,568.
