Levies for Landscape Districts 5 and 6 approved; District 5 will draw on reserves

City staff presented budgets for Landscape Maintenance Districts 5 and 6, showing District 5 with projected expenditures ($829,000) exceeding revenues ($727,000) and that pruning and other work will draw reserves; District 6’s revenues exceed expenditures and required no change for one zone. "As with Districts 2 and 4, this district is going to be receiving a significant amount of pruning this year so that additional budget is coming out of the reserves for District 5," Josh Wolf said.
After a public hearing with no comments, council adopted the resolution confirming and ordering the FY26–27 levies for Districts 5 and 6; staff will monitor reserve levels and report back as needed.
