Student reps report modest improvement after Yonder bag checks; board hears students still use "sneaky" tactics

A student athlete (speaker 13) said some students questioned the cost and implementation approach and asked why teacher-level enforcement wasn't tried first.
Administrators reported the under-bag checks were "remarkably successful" in reducing phones and earbuds visible in classrooms and said enforcement will continue periodically; they noted some students used calculators in pouches to try to circumvent checks. Directors and students agreed the policy is a multiyear implementation effort and that greater compliance may grow as expectations are enforced consistently.
