The Box Elder City Council approved a consent agenda that consolidated several committee-recommended items into a single roll-call vote.
Council member Knight told the council the finance, legal and public safety committee approved special-event and consumption permits for the chamber, and recommended both Dollar General licensing items and a vehicle purchase for engineering for the consent agenda. Council member Davis summarized the public works, planning and zoning committee’s approvals, including Resolution 25-05 (accept Freedom Landing Subdivision Phase 5), Resolution 25-06 (annexation petition for Lots A and B of Tract B), professional services for North Ellsworth Road design and reconstruction, a Genpro solar lighting contract for Foxborough Trail and Veterans Park (project number 240042), GPS equipment purchase, planning commission bylaws, the city tree-planting plan, a Frost Solutions master services agreement for mini weather stations, and an equipment purchase from Rapid Trailer Sales.
All items on the consent agenda were approved by roll-call vote as presented; any item could have been removed for separate action if a council member or attendee requested it.
