The Box Elder City Council approved Resolution No. 25-06, authorizing voluntary annexation of Lots A and B of Tract B and related parcels at the request of Woodstock Supply. The planning director told the council the planning commission recommended approval following its Dec. 30 meeting.
“The planning commission voted to recommend city council approve this annexation,” the planning director said during the presentation. Council moved to approve the resolution and passed it by roll call. The annexation paperwork was presented as a follow-up to an earlier agreement and was described as necessary to enable the property owner to obtain additional municipal water service.
Council members said the item had been reviewed at committee; no public comment was recorded on the annexation during this meeting. The action was recorded as a motion, second and unanimous roll-call approval; the resolution will be implemented through the usual annexation documentation and city processes.
