Melody Kikkert of the Labette County Appraisers Office presented the county's Neighborhood Revitalization Program to the Altamont City Council on Dec. 12. The presentation described the program framework and options for municipal participation. Council members discussed next steps and related interlocal agreements.
After discussion council agreed to keep the city's original NRP agreement as written and directed staff to finish the interlocal agreements and send them to the Kansas Attorney General's Office for review. The decision was recorded in the minutes as the council's direction on the program; no vote count beyond 'council agrees' was recorded in the minutes.
