The Altamont City Council approved routine business items at its Dec. 12 meeting, including the Nov. 26, 2024 minutes and invoice payments totaling $35,420.04. Councilmember Lyle Sykes moved to approve the minutes; Councilmember Colt Booth seconded and the motion carried. Council later approved invoices on a motion by Sykes with Kyle Wiford seconding.
The council also approved two cereal malt beverage license applications—Pete’s of Eries Inc. and the Corner Store—on separate motions that carried. Councilmember Kyle Wiford moved to adopt the 2025 council meeting dates as presented, seconded by Tyler Julich; that motion carried as well. These approvals were routine votes recorded in the meeting minutes and did not include further debate.
