Altamont council expresses interest in KMEA solar‑farm purchase from NextEra

The project developer is NextEra Energy, which currently supplies power to Altamont through the city's existing arrangement. The council did not take formal action; members asked staff to track developments and report back if contract terms or pricing options become available.
