Senators welcome students, coaches and trucking-industry leaders to the chamber

A speaker introduced leaders from the Mississippi trucking industry's leadership class, noting Hal Miller, president of the Mississippi Truckers Association, was present. In his remarks about the college, Dr. Thompson noted the institution developed its mascot "Tushka, the Choctaw eagle," in partnership with the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and thanked alumni and partners for their support.
