Votes and actions: Committee forwards three items to City Council
Summary
At its Jan. 21 meeting the committee approved forwarding (1) an operations and maintenance agreement for the Box Event Center, (2) a revised audit engagement letter adding the federal single-audit requirement, and (3) the purchase of three 2024 Dodge Durangos, all by recorded motions and unanimous committee agreement.
The City of Box Elder Finance, Legal and Public Safety Committee voted to forward three items to the City Council with recommendations of approval: an operations and maintenance agreement with Box O and M LLC for the Box Event Center (item 6a); a revised engagement letter with Casey Peterson LTD adding the federal single-audit requirement after the city exceeded the $750,000 federal funding threshold (item 6b); and the purchase of three 2024 Dodge Durangos at $44,914 each for a total of $134,742 (item 6c).
Each motion was made, seconded and announced carried by the chair during the meeting. Committee records show motions on the public record with movers recorded as Schubert and seconds recorded as Bixell; the chair announced "Ayes have it" for these votes. All three items will appear on tonight's City Council agenda for final action.
