Committee recommends operations and maintenance agreement for Box Event Center

The City of Box Elder Finance, Legal and Public Safety Committee voted to recommend approval of an operations and maintenance agreement that would direct bid number 3 funds to Box O and M LLC for management of the Box Event Center.
A city staff member described the agreement as "This is the agreement that'll provide for the past due for the bid number 3 funds from the city to box the box o and m LLC, which is the entity, responsible for the operation and maintenance of, the box event center." The city attorney was present during the presentation and the committee moved to forward the item to the full council with a recommendation of approval.
Committee members recorded the motion and second on the record; the chair announced the motion carried. The agreement will appear on tonight’s council agenda for final consideration.
