Laura Lee Patton, planning and zoning director, described a voluntary annexation petition for Lots A and B of Tract B (and related parcels) that follows an earlier annexation agreement with Woodstock Supply. Patton explained the "driving force" behind the request is access to water while the city has a moratorium on new water connections; she noted the planning commission recommended approval at its Dec. 30, 2024 meeting.
After Patton’s presentation, the committee moved, seconded and voted by voice to forward Resolution 25-06 to tonight’s council agenda with a recommendation of approval. The committee did not record individual roll-call votes in the transcript; the motion outcome was recorded as carried.
