Administrators said the project will pair students with 1st Security Bank staff for software training and business-practice mentoring. “They'll come in and work with Ashley and the students and kind of introduce them to softwares, business practices,” a staff member said during the meeting, describing the bank partnership and the classroom uses for the grant.
A board member moved to approve acceptance of the Carl Perkins Reserve Grant and another member seconded the motion; the chair called for the vote and the motion passed by voice vote.
