The Deerwood City Council appointed Cris Kreger to fill a vacant council seat at its May 11 meeting. Member Voller moved and Member Ingersoll seconded the appointment; the motion carried unanimously.
Kreger's term will expire Dec. 31, 2026. Clerk Wodarz handled the application materials and the council did not record any objections to the appointment.
