Planning commission: monopole approved; UDO draft posted for public review

"The Unified Development Ordinance is designed to create a single modernized ordinance, which is easier to read and administer," he said, and staff are scheduling drop-in sessions and have provided an online feedback form for residents.
Staff emphasized the UDO is an extensive reorganization of zoning and development standards, some of which have not been updated in over 50 years. The notice and comment period will determine refinements before the draft moves forward to city council for consideration.
