Justin, an assistant planner working on the parks and recreation master plan, presented the results of a November–January outreach effort and said the team received 206 completed surveys (199 online and seven in person) collected between Oct. 25 and Jan. 5. He summarized respondent use and satisfaction: parks and trails were the most-used facilities, sports fields and the library saw moderate use, and the pool and school playgrounds showed low or no use in the responses.
Justin said average satisfaction with park conditions scored about 3.1 on a 1–5 scale, which staff characterize as "not bad, not great." The presentation highlighted demand for improved maintenance, more restrooms and better lighting; respondents also expressed interest in programs such as community events, arts and music, and in expanding trails and river access.
