The water study showed the city was losing $0.46 per thousand gallons; the wastewater study showed a margin of $1.85 per thousand gallons.
Councilor Liza Root asked the Finance Committee to review the findings and return recommendations to council. The council also approved two maintenance projects: a $9,850 exterior stain proposal for Last Chance Liquors and fuel oil tank removal by Bougalis ($3,800 plus up to $3,000 for contents removal) to be funded from city reserves.
