Committee urges clearer follow-up, earlier materials and contractor candor
Summary

Committee members reflected on what has worked well and what to improve as CIAC transitions. Members praised the balance of presentation and discussion, the presence of the right staff in meetings, and materials that are readable. At the same time they urged earlier distribution of meeting materials (at least one week), clearer assignment of follow-up actions, and a reliable feedback loop so questions posed in meetings receive documented responses at subsequent meetings.
A committee member emphasized the need to leave meetings with concrete next steps: "I think it's important in the green box, to make sure we leave or the committee leaves the me each meeting with action strategy of things that have to happen, either that, you know, the agency and who's who's gonna do what." Members also encouraged inviting contractors to report candidly on what went well and what did not, so the committee hears both sides of project performance.
