Public Works Director Clayten Nelson said the allotted pavilion footprint is 20'x20' with four‑foot aprons allowed; choosing a larger pavilion would reduce apron area. Treasurer Michelle Jensen reminded the council there is $140,000 budgeted for the pavilion and requested timely invoice submission as the new fiscal year had just begun. Councilmembers discussed maintenance (Nelson noted GluLam wood will require resealing every five years), grant spending constraints (Cache County RAPZ funds must be spent on the requested project), and agreed to pursue GluLam options with separate concrete bids.
Councilmembers signaled a preference to select and order a pavilion and have it installed before spring 2027; staff were directed to proceed with vendor follow-up and concrete estimates.
