Koda Abusing, transit manager, presented the City of Fremont’s fiscal year 2025 transit year-in-review and said staff were available for questions about ridership, service changes and operations. Abusing described program growth and operational decisions that reduced redundant trips and improved connections for riders.
"This is one of the more valuable services that Fremont offers," Councilman Von Barron said, praising the city’s care for its least-capable residents. Councilmembers also noted the program’s operating practices, such as combining trips from high-rise towers to retail destinations to reduce duplicate runs. A motion to receive the transit highlights report was made by Councilman Jensen, seconded, and approved by the council.
The report in council materials was presented as a summary of FY2025 operations; staff did not present specific ridership numbers during the discussion on the record. The council offered thanks to transit staff and noted continued support for the program.
