"La autorización no se transferirá a otros propietarios... la autorización acabará si no se utilizan por 12 meses consecutivos," Councilmember Lesta González said as she summarized the conditions and moved for approval. The conditions also specify operating hours (Sunday–Wednesday 11 a.m. to midnight; Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 1 a.m.), prohibit amplified outdoor sound and require appropriate alcohol-sales documentation and inspections.
The staff report noted notification to the University of Texas in San Antonio was attempted with no response. A public commenter raised safety concerns about alcohol sales near the campus, saying a variance "300 pies de distancia" from student housing risks drunk driving; another speaker representing the applicant, identifying as an operator of "Find My X," urged approval and pledged responsible operations.
The motion to approve passed; the transcript does not record a roll-call tally. The approval follows standard conditional authorizations the council applies to new late-night or alcohol-service establishments in proximity to university neighborhoods.
