Council sends safe-lodging and workforce CCR to Public Safety Committee to study pilot options and costs

Speakers emphasized operator responsibility, coordination with police and code enforcement, and partnerships with programs such as Kika Good Neighbor and DARD. The committee directed the item to the Public Safety Committee, which will convene in August to evaluate options, costs and possible pilot design before returning recommendations to the full council.
